have to disagree with it being the browser. I have two blogs one updates right away and other doesnt so I do feel things like the theme you use can effect things.

i use Firefox and safari as browsers to test my blog when it comes to the changes update, and with safari the changes are instantly applied, but with Firefox takes several minutes and sometimes hours, but when i use the technique explained above, they appear immediately in Firefox, and for the theme, i think, it’s not the problem, because the theme is just Xhtml ,php scripts; and css, so it’s just a mean between the browser and the server where your blog files are stored.
